Description
Tasting Notes
The enveloping scent is a full-bodied and aromatic bouquet of black cherry, oak white pepper and dried dark fruit. The palette is rewarded with a complex, concentrated balance of tart cherry, vanilla, cola and black currant, featuring a pleasing medium-long finish and body.
Vintage Notes
The 2014 growing season was a dream vintage, with quality similar to 2012 and 2013. The grapes were ready to harvest in early August, sooner than normal. Substantial rain in late February and early March relieved most of the stress and set up the vines for a vigorous start. A mild summer led to a wonderful harvest and a robust, premium wine certain to please all the senses.
