Description
Collefrisio is located on the rolling hills of Frisa in Chieti. Here you will encounter Amedeo De Luca and Antonio Patricelli, third generation winemakers.
Collefrisio is situated in a geographical context which has always been prone to culture high quality vineyards and fine wine. Their vineyards rest on clay and limestone soils, the weather is hot in summer and cold in winter. The three Collefrisio estates make up a 35-hectare vineyard.

GRAPE VARIETY: A blend of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Primitivo di Manduria.
VINIFICATION: Extended maceration of the wine in stainless steel tanks after which it is aged in the bottle for at least 10 months.
CHARACTERISTICS: Intense ruby red colour. Fruity, with hints of plum, berries and maraschino cherry. Slightly spicy. A complex and full-bodied wine with a soft, velvety finish and lingering aftertaste.
